WordPress PHP Developer

MoreNiche are a growing yet established affiliate network, based in Nottingham. An established SME business employing 25+ people who focus on the health industry.  Due to organic growth within the business, we are looking for a WordPress PHP developer to join our team. 

The Role:

We’re looking for hard-working, enthusiastic developer who is looking to show their web development skills and progress within the company.

You will be working within the development team, working with them to build and improve WordPress websites.

You will work in a team of developers who will share knowledge, help push one another and evolve your development and technical knowledge.

You will report in to the lead developer, ensuring the work you are doing is focused on removing pain points and focusing on tasks that make a real difference to the business and end users.

We are looking for an individual that is solution driven. One that is happy to communicate and work with technical and non technical team members. A real business team player, who can see the impact development decision have on the end user and business.

Required Skills:

• Experience with WordPress theme and plugin development (3 years+)
• Object oriented programming in PHP (3 years+)
• WooCommerce customisation
• Experience working in an Agile environment

Desired Skills:

• Familiar with AWS (Amazon Web Services)
• Familiar with NGINX
• Experience using Github
• Experience using front end technologies (Gulp , Bower, Grunt & Webpack)
