At the start of the week we finished the test on PhenQ whereby we made the 2+1 package the “most popular” and therefore the one that stood out most.This test hypothesis was based on the fact that about 50% of the customers opted to purchase one bottle rather than any of the bigger offers, so we wanted to reduce the likelihood of that happening by recommending a bigger offer that isn’t as expensive.  

Looking at the before/after results, it didn’t have the expected effect of increasing the amount of people who purchased bigger packages (one bottle remained at 50%). However, we did notice an expected decrease in 6 bottle package purchases and an increase in 3 bottle package purchases. This led to a positive result both in terms of conversion and average order value (AOV).

During the test, the new variation converted 0.32% higher than the control with a 92% confidence level so we have considered it to be a winner.
