Rob Knott

Outside of the job, I’m very passionate about writing. This started initially on the Greek island of Ios, where I would correct “Engrish” mistakes on menus in exchange for cash to prolong summers in the sun.

I then went on to write a short comedy book about working in retail. The book attracted a following on social media and gained its own community. This opened doors for me to work with social media personalities such as Daz Black and Huw Samuel. Most recently we co-wrote a feature film script together with the British Film Institute.

Outside of writing, I freelance for LinkedIn as a Community Builder on their BP (Beyond Professionals) team. I’m currently helping them to create their own online community for retail, food, and service workers. We’re also working on a Joe Rogan style video podcast aimed at the same audience.

When I’m not working or writing, I spend most of my time with my partner and our two cats Rossko and Mr Pie. When you’ve partied and travelled as much as I did in my twenties, you learn to appreciate the simplicity of cosy evenings on the sofa with the TV and a takeaway!

Question & Answer

Why did you want to work at MoreNiche?

A big appeal of working for MoreNiche is the flexibility to work from home. I have an extremely hectic life, so being able to ditch the commute and work remotely is very rewarding. I also think MoreNiche’s attitude towards its employees and clients is very forward-thinking. It’s nice to be part of something that feels very special.
