James Plumb - MoreNiche

I’m James, I’ve worked in marketing for about 10 years now and my main focus is paid traffic, social media and influencer marketing. I’ve marketed everything from cars to guns to male enhancement and everything in between.

I love spending time watching movies and series with my wife Emma and my cat Trevor. When I can manage to drag myself off of the sofa, I enjoy playing golf and I try to play at least once a week when the weather allows it.

I like to think I’m a ‘creative type’ and I used to be able to play a variety of instruments (but I haven’t touched them in years now). I love music in general and can often be found exploring the weirder parts of Spotify (hit me up, lets swap weird playlists).

When I’m not exploring music, I like to get out into nature and go exploring. I love spending time in the peak district, lake district and have a special soft spot for the wilder parts of the USA. I’d love to live there one day, but right now I’m concentrating on building my family life.

Why did you want to work at MoreNiche?

I wanted to (re)join MoreNiche because I know it’s a great place to work. There’s a lot of positivity within the team and a desire to move forward as a collective. New tactics and technologies are treated as opportunities to grow and learn, which is hard to find in other places.

What are your top 3 (e)sports / wellness activities?

Playing golf & going to the driving range, Walking/hiking & exploring, Five-a-side (begrudgingly & rarely)

How old do you feel?

I kind of feel stuck at the age of 19-21 when I went to uni. I don’t think I’ve changed much since then to be honest!

What's the craziest thing you have ever done?

I proposed to my now wife at the top of the Empire State building. I guess that’s as crazy as I get.

If you could choose a superpower, what would it be?

I’d have the ability to stop and start time. For sure.
